The Benefits of Microdosing E39

Written by #WWR
During Episode 39, we discuss Microdosing—ingesting small amounts of a psychoactive substance—enough to get some perceived benefit but not enough to become intoxicated or feel the psychoactive effects of a larger dose. Sareta is joined by co-host, Dee, and special guest Brionna Morse.
Brionna is a Microdosing Guide and Mindset Coach. She works with men and women worldwide to walk alongside them during their Microdosing journey.
She believes using Psilcobyin (SI-LO-SY-BIN) is one key to opening more potential, freedom, and peace within a person’s life. She has been a Licensed Clinical Therapist for 15 years. And although she does not practice any longer, she uses her education and background to help people break through the mindset barriers and blocks holding them back from showing up more fully themselves to live a more fulfilled life.

Is Microdosing Legal?
Both drugs commonly used for Microdosing, LSD and psilocybin-containing magic mushrooms, are listed as Class A drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act here in the UK. Which means they are illegal to possess or supply. People can face up to 7 years in prison and a fine for possession. People can face life in prison and a penalty for supply and production.
Brionna is based in Greenville, South Carolina, where magic mushrooms grow wild in the many forests. However, South Carolina has strict laws, and both Psilocybin and LSD are illegal. While more research is being made, laws and regulations may become more relaxed in the United States and the UK, and classifications may change. But for now, if you’re interested in starting a Microdosing journey, it’s best to find out about the laws in your state or country.
Brionna supports clients in discovering what they need through her method of subconscious reset and core value integration with the support of Microdosing psilocybin.
She is taking a stand for the medicine of psilocybin as a licensed professional and white woman. She believes in preserving the deep-rooted culture and history this medicine originated from within Indigenous Cultures.
She stands for the integrity of combing plant medicine journeys with the support and guidance of a trusted and experienced professional.
Microdosing Programmes
Brionna works with high achievers, entrepreneurs, business owners, online coaches, and those who desire to get off SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are a widely used type of antidepressant).
While the practice has existed for decades, until recently, reports have been very much anecdotal, based on the single experience of an individual. In fact, up until the last few years, there has been little to no scientific evidence to back up these claims.
Thanks to a new wave of interest and research into the power of psychedelic drugs, scientists are beginning to understand the mechanics of microdosing more clearly. One of the earliest controlled studies into microdosing showed that subjects given a small dose of LSD showed changes in their perception of time, a shared experience when taking more significant amounts of the drug.
A study by the Beckley Foundation published in 2020 examined whether a low dose of LSD could reduce pain perception. The study indicated that a 20 microgram dose of LSD significantly reduced pain perception compared to a placebo, increasing pain tolerance by 20%, results comparable to those observed after administration of opioids, such as oxycodone and morphine, in healthy volunteers.
Brionna helps you personalise a protocol that aligns with your goals and intentions. While guiding you on your Microdosing programme she:
- Enables you to determine where and when your protocol needs tweaking.
- Guides you to more profound learning about yourself, your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour patterns.
- Supports you in marrying your ego, your shadow, and your highest self to become one, fully aligning with who you truly are.
- Teaches you skills and tools that you can sustainably use in your daily life to increase awareness and perception of yourself.

What Are The Benefits Of Microdosing Psilocybin Mushrooms?
There are many purported benefits to microdosing psilocybin mushrooms; they include:
- Improving a mental health condition, including depression, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
- Resolving relationship issues.
- Improved focus, attention, and concentration
- Positive mood
- Increased energy levels
- Less rumination
- More present-mindedness
- More calmness and peace of mind
- Enhanced creativity
- Higher levels of productivity
Brionna stated that Microdosing might only be suitable for some.
Those with mental health conditions such as Bipolar Disorder or health conditions would need to speak to a licensed doctor if they were interested in Microdosing.
Delving deep into your psyche is a personal experience. Like shadow work, you may not be ready to uncover what’s holding you back. Although, as Brionna explained, grief and gratitude sit in the same box– we can’t be grateful without the grief and loss we have for the healing we experience afterwards.
